   Not sure how many of you are Bucs fans but I do like to mention that they did win their first game of the season avoiding the great possibility of an O and sixteen record. It was also the game where the Bucs decided to wear the throwback uni’s of the orange creamsicle fame. Whether that brought them good luck remains to be seen but it did remind of the time the Rays had a worn throwback uni’s this past season. Other than the outcomes of the two games, the was something different about the Bucs throwbacks and the Rays throwbacks: the Bucs celebrated the 1979 winning season by donning the those uni’s while the Rays partied like it was 1999 in the year where the team had a dismal second season. The Bucs wore the throwbacks in recognition of a great team. The Rays wore the throwbacks that was recognized as a crappy baseball team. Don’t praise mediocracy.
