Islanders Insight’s Top Shelf: We’re Going Streaking 12/8/15

It’s not a win streak, but points are points and the Islanders have collected at least one in the last seven games stretching back to a pre-Thanksgiving match up with the Flyers – tonight’s opponent. Though the wins (and overtime/shootout loses) aren’t without faults, the Islanders are finding ways to separate themselves from the teams below them, most of which are on the schedule during the next four games. Starting tonight, the Islanders can put themselves in an even better position heading into 2016.
